from La Geria to Mancha Blanca.

reasons, it’s forbidden to leave the path.
Following the indications of the signs, in
bit more than 3 Km, it’ s possible to arrive to the caldera.

Inside the crater
Unlike other volcanoes, you can visit inside the crater of the Volcano El Cuervo in
Lanzarote. When you reach the crater's edge, a path goes between two mountains
with a slight slope.
Once inside, you can see the remains of a
lava lake that temporarily filled the space. Later, it overflowed, dragging
part of the crater wall.
As a result, there were remains of rocks
scattered throughout the terrain, as well as the marks of the different heights
that the lava reached when the crater was filled.
