Papagayo is located in the south of the island, close to the popular village of
Playa Blanca.

protected by the Los Ajaches Natural Monument, better known as Punta Papagayo.

Coves next to Papagayo Beach

this is the main beach, there are many coves near Playa Papagayo, belonging to
the Ajaches Natural Park. For this reasons, the set of beaches form an ideal
haven of peace for those who want to disconnect from the big cities or the
routine.
Among
them we can mention Caleta del Congrio, Puerto Muelas, Calentón de San Marcial,
Playa de la Acera, Playa Mujeres y Playa del Mozo. In total something more than
2 Km of creeks that seem to be drawned
for the escape of the visitor.
