Even if the island is considered as the eighth canary islands with inhabitants, from an administrative point of view it belongs to the municipality of Teguise, in Lanzarote.
The rest of the island is considered Heritage of the State and it belongs to the National Parks Autonomous Organism (OAPN).
What to see in La Graciosa
La Graciosa, of volcanic origin, offers to the visitor many options to enjoy.
On one side, la Graciosa count on virgin beaches so impressive like Playa de las Conchas. The beach is located on the northeast of the island, it has an extension of 610 metres with fine and with sand.

Who wants to enjoy it, has just to be careful entering in to the water. Waves are very strong, there are no lifeguards so it’s quite dangerous.
Other popular beaches are Playa de la Cocina, close to Montaña Amarilla and Playas del Morro Negro and los Franceses.
